Ayelet | I read that there is one interpretation of NN position which fits two different incidents: both sign and house position. For example, NN in virgo is equal in terms of interpretation to NN in the sixth house. But many people who were born approximately at the same epoch share the sign position. How come the interpretation for the sign and house position is the same? If a synthesis need to be done, how is it being made? Thanks! |
NoireAries | Sometimes astrologers like to conflate house and sign and it's not just with the nodes. I've seen it with planets too. I guess since the descriptions are similar they think that they're similar enough to be interchangeable which they're not, obviously. Both the sign and house are equally important, it's not an either/or. If you want more accurate descriptions I say check out astrofix. She (Michelle) combines the sign and house placement together which is the truer picture of your nodes. Link: http://astrofix.net/2010/11/28/north-node-in-virgo-and-south-node-in-pisces-by-house |
Ami Anne | I would say House, if I had to choose, but everything is important in the charts imo ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Gemini Blues | The sign is the manner or style of action, the house is the area in which you do it. Same applies to Nodes as planets. |
DopGang | House is more personal to you. The node changes sign about every 18 months. The house changes about every two hours. Roughly anyway. That's not to say that sign is not important, it is. |
Rosalind | House. The house is gonna tell you where your current karma has to be fulfilled. |

Wow. That was so accurate for me - at least in terms of my main wrestle in life. I have such a pull towards my SN as described there that it worries me too but .. I suppose have been realising I need to move towards nn description already but only just and it feels very uphill at the moment to do so |
Ayelet | Thank you all for responding. NoireAries, thanks for the link. I couldn't use it, though, they are having an update. Going to try it again later. |
